Cavs stops Thunders



One of the lowest ranked team in the Eastern Conference with 13-34 record had stop their 2-game losing skid and submit the Oklahoma City Thunders, one of the best team in the league a huge upset as the Cavs win by 5 with the help of their All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving who drained 13 of his 35 points in the final three minutes in the fourth quarter. Irving finishes a game high 35 points along with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Another hot player in the Cavs line-up is Marreese Speights who finished 21 points way off the bench while 3 other Cavs players contributes in double digit points including Tristan Thompson ended the game big gaining double-double stats with 11 points and 12 rebounds. In the other side of the game, Kevin Durant finishes the game with double-double having 32 points with 11 rebounds and Russel Westbrook adds 28 points but still came short against the Cavs. The effort of Kyrie Irving during the last minute of the game had changed the tempo of the game as the game tied at 108, Irving scored 5 straight points and as Durant responded to his shot cutting their lead to 3, Irving seems to be energized by the home crowd scoring a dagger and ended the game winning by 5; 115-110. Irving shows why he deserve a spot at the All-star spoiling Durant and Westbrook who will also participate in the upcoming All-star game which will be held at Houston, Texas on February 17, 2013.
